Review: Brewed in Magic by Jenna Wolfhart

Rating: 5/5 ⭐

[Spoiler-Free] Just when I thought I couldn't fall any more in love with the Isles of Fable and their charming inhabitants, Brewed in Magic was released and made me do exactly that!

Though the story is a standalone, it picks up almost immediately after Forged by Magic, with the leading couple we previously met making a heartwarming reappearance. It's certainly not necessary to read the stories in order, but the added context and history made my reading experience that much more enjoyable.

Despite the stakes being relatively low (the fate of the world does not hang in the balance here!), there is no shortage of action or suspense. I found myself unable to put it down, especially once I reached the ~60% mark. With an enemies to lovers journey, plenty of witty banter, an utterly lovable dragon, and truly touching found family moments, Brewed in Magic checked so many of my cozy romantasy boxes. I can't wait for the next opportunity to return to the Isles!
