Review: Bring Me Your Midnight by Rachel Griffin

Rating: 5/5 ⭐

[Spoiler-Free] While I thoroughly enjoyed 'Wild is the Witch' and 'The Nature of Witches,' 'Bring Me Your Midnight' is the first work from Rachel Griffin that I found myself utterly unable to put down! With a slow burn enemies-to-lovers storyline, coming-of-age challenges amidst familial and political obligations, and plenty of magic, fans of Griffin's work are sure to fall head over heels in love with this story.

More than just a fantasy romance, 'Bring Me Your Midnight' is also a love letter to the beauty of nature, the sea, and the elements. It is beautifully immersive, with wonderfully complex characters, a creative magical system, and exquisite scenery. The heart-pounding suspense, achingly beautiful forbidden romance, and moments of palpable desperation made this an incredibly emotional read, with an ending that was worth every second of lost sleep.
